Chris Collins partnered with the management team at Easom Corporation in January 2003 and purchased the assets of Easom from the Besi family.
Easom traces it’s roots back to 1945 and was well entrenched in the automotive assembly business by virtue of its patented Cymonic Epi-Cycloidal Drive Unit. Today, Easom Automation offers a wide range of modern, flexible automation products including 7th axis slides for robots, tooling trays, lifters, lift and transfer systems, Cymonic lift and transfer drives, and electromechanical drive packages.
Easom works closely with the end users of their products to offer cost effective solutions for the ever changing manufacturing environment. Customers include GM, Ford, Daimler Chrysler and many Tier 1 automotive system manufacturers.
Easom is ISO9001 : 2000 certified and is well known for its robust / reliable products, engineering skills, problem solving capabilities and specialized production systems. Easom is growing rapidly and recently moved into a newly renovated factory in Madison Heights, WI.
